Auto-Generated Segment
askPear can automatically create segments for you based on how customers interact with your messages. This saves time and ensures you always know who is interested in what.
1. Segments from Questionnaire Responses
When you use a Multiple Choice or Date Picker node in a journey or campaign:
Each answer a customer selects can become a segment automatically.
Example: If you ask, “What’s your skin type?” with options Oily, Dry, Combination:
askPear will create 3 segments: “Oily Skin,” “Dry Skin,” “Combination Skin.”
You can use these segments later to send targeted promotions or set up new journeys.
Tip: Keep your answer options meaningful. Each option becomes a useful group you can re-engage.
2. Segments from Link Clicks
When you add a link in a message and enable tracking:
askPear will detect the link (must start with
https://
) and create a segment for everyone who clicks it.Example: If you send a message with two product links, you’ll get two segments:
“Clicked Product A”
“Clicked Product B”
You can then send follow-up campaigns to only those who clicked.
Tip: Use separate links for different products, collections, or blog posts to capture customer interest more precisely.
